And, a new month means new submissions calls. Here they are! I can’t believe we are already looking for projects for February! The time just flies by.

Scrap n’ Art February 2013 Submission Call

Scrap n’ Art is currently looking for submissions for our February 2013 issue. We are looking for your layouts, cards, altered art and out of the box creations that follow the theme “Love is in the Air.”

In some parts of the world, winter is still in full swing and it is cold and dreary. It is amazing how a little love does wonders to brighten and warm up the day. It may be that special pair of socks you received from your favorite person that brings a smile to your face. How about just a big hug? Love is shown in many ways. As crafters, we also share our love with others through the creations we make. Share those creations with us at Scrap n’ Art.

Do not limit yourself. Show us how you bring “love” into your crafting. Digital, traditional or hybrid, anything goes! You can also submit as many projects as your heart desires. To submit, please follow the guidelines below. Deadline for all submissions is January 1, 2013.

To submit, please send the following information to submissions@scrapnart.com:

  • Your name and email
  • A photo of your project (Please include additional photos of details. Limit photo size to less than 1 MB each.)
  • Title of your project
  • A supply list of all items used. (Please include manufacturer and item. If in doubt, please include the information.)
  • In the subject line, please put “February 2013
  • If you would like for us to include a link to your blog, please share your blog address.

These are projects that were featured in Scrap n’ Art that I forgot to share. Oops!

This first layout can be found in the August 2012 issue in the “Summer Fun – Use Your Stash” article

I used Little Yellow Bicycle papers and embellishments to make this.

This next layout is from way back in the May issue and can be seen in the Get Sketchy with Us! article.

I had a great time using my Silhouette (yes, I still have the original machine) to make these flowers. I also used it to cut the chevrons. The paper goes way back too…it is some Pink Paislee from a couple of years ago, but I still love it! And, I was so glad to have the chance to use it.

Stayed tune for some more creations next week. In the meantime, have a wonderful, crafty weekend!

My poor blog. It is the first thing that gets pushed to the side when things get busy. It’s not for lack of things to share. Amazingly, I actually have quite a few projects that I haven’t had a chance to post online. I just don’t have enough time in the day. Even that extra hour of daylight savings wasn’t enough!

Anyways, let me start off by sharing that the November issue of Scrap n’ Art Magazine is now live. It has some great articles and projects featuring Jenni Bowlin, Anna Griffin, Lawn Fawn and ImpressArt.

That also means there is a new set of submissions calls. They are for the January 2013 issue. (Wow! I can’t believe we are already at the end of another year!)

Here they are:

Whatever you do, we want you to share them with us! Digital, traditional or hybrid, anything goes! You can also submit as many projects as your heart desires. To submit, please follow the guidelines below. Deadline for all submissions is December 1, 2012.

I start off each month with good intentions of keeping up with my blog. But, as the days go by, blogging gets pushed back as other responsibilities come to the fore. Not that I don’t want to blog, I do. In fact, I even have several blog posts written out in my head! However, it is the execution of them that gets me into trouble!

Anyways, before the first full week of the month is gone, I wanted to get another post up. Here are a few projects I am now able to share that were featured in the April issue of Scrap n’ Art.

Believe it or not, I still have more projects to share. But, it will probably be next week before I get the photos off of my camera! lol!

Until then, keep crafting!
